Head, Heart & Hand

Soon it will be school time. Regardless of the type of school your child will be going to, or the type of school you may be teaching in, be sure that attention is always given to balancing the teaching of the child's Head, Heart and Hand.
That is the essence of holistic education, teaching to the whole child.... the child's mind, emotions and physical body. Every lesson can and should be designed to awaken those aspects of the child.
When you are teaching the child or helping them with lessons from someone else, ask yourself, "How can I weave in qualities of this lesson that will stimulate the intellect, touch the spirit and emotions and engage the physical body with movement?" Do that and you are offering the child the best of a holistic lesson.
