Just the other day I calculated that I became a Waldorf teacher 42 years ago! What a gift my Waldorf training was those many years ago! I have been retired from classroom teaching now for some time, but the teaching continues... primarily through my books. I love that the books are starting to reach so many families, in this country and in others. I particularly love hearing back from the readers. I welcome you all to contact me and share your experiences as you visit Limindoor Woods. The stories continue. The fourth book is out now and soon I will begin work...
Head, Heart & Hand

Soon it will be school time. Regardless of the type of school your child will be going to, or the type of school you may be teaching in, be sure that attention is always given to balancing the teaching of the child's Head, Heart and Hand. That is the essence of holistic education, teaching to the whole child.... the child's mind, emotions and physical body. Every lesson can and should be designed to awaken those aspects of the child. When you are teaching the child or helping them with lessons from someone else, ask yourself, "How can I weave in...
