The Queen Bee, a 1st Grade play in verse
For teachers, homeschoolers, and anyone who delights in children’s theater and fairy tales, The Queen Bee offers a whimsical dramatization of the classic Brothers Grimm tale. This gentle play in verse is filled with talking animals, princes and princesses, and a mysterious Little Gray Man, all brought to life with rhythm, rhyme, and imagination.
Designed for grades 1 and up, the play can be performed by as few as 4 players, or expanded to include 9–20 participants, as members of the chorus can take on multiple roles.
This one-act production runs about 15–20 minutes and features three original songs.
